Blog2018 ≫ Did some shopping in Canterbury, but

⬆️Got the beetle back

didn't spot until today that one of the shopping bags has gone missing. We think number one son was carrying it and left it somewhere, one of the other shops. Luckily nothing too expensive in it as it was from Primark but still a bit annoying. Had two onesies for the boys to wear to swimming, an impulse purchase really. Clare went into Folkestone today and replaced them. That's the money we saved on a pair of shoes all gone - we had number two son measured up for school shoes in Clark's and Clare left me to pay for the only pair they seemed to have in his size while she raced off somewhere else. I was too shocked to say "REALLY? 48 for one pair of children's shoes that will last about six weeks?" but once we'd regrouped we decided, back they go, that's crazy money. Got a suitable pair for 1/3 that price elsewhere. He'll grow out of them before they wear out.

Probably if we'd not had to do that extra bit of shopping to change the shoes, we'd not have lost the Primark bag, so we maybe didn't gain anything.
