Blog2017 ≫ Maybe there is a bag

Or maybe I am just impressed by this bag 1. Disclaimer: it does not seem to have either of the features I wanted from the Eagle Creek or Pacsafe bags, no RFID protection and no metal slash-proof reinforcement anywhere. Also it doesn't seem to have a "crush proof" pocket at all (not that either of the others do). It is lighter though, this one is 650g unloaded and it is pocket-tastic. Also it is $200! So for this reason, I'm out. It has pushed the idea forward of "putting a bag inside the bag" to get more use out my current bags, so I think I'm going to get some packing cubes for my big rucksack and a RFID pouch for my regular day bag, and jobs a good 'un!

Still enjoying looking at bag-tech and particularly videos of how people are packing light for big trips. Clare says I am a bit mental. At least watching the videos is free. I seem to be saving $200 every time I don't buy one now!
