Been working hard today on the hottest day of the year... worked through lunch as I was expecting a call from the garage to say "come pick up your car we done fixed it". Didn't hear until the very end of the day so had a bit of a run around to get it before it shut, then go back and get the beetle too as I hard parked it badly. Anyway, all done, 200 quid down for the repair and the service and a couple of advisories that could mount up to another couple of hundred. So to celebrate we took the boys to the Fountain!
Was quiet in there, always seems like they're just about to go out of business to me. They had only one beer on, no cider, and no lemonade either. Still, we sat and the boys played in the garden, everyone's happy.
