Blog2017 ≫ Friday trip to Gun Wharf

We planned a day in Portsmouth for the six of us, Clare and I heading down to Gunwharf first on the bus, then Mum and Dad joining later with the boys. Nice fast bus trip straight to the fancy new bus terminus, then we walked the millenium link walkway via the Spinnaker Tower across to the Still and West. Nice walk, lovely sunny day again, nice pint of HSB in the sunshine too. Clare very pleased for me to have a beer before we start shopping, it makes me a more relaxed shopper, and indeed I did buy more than I might have done.

Mum phoned to say they weren't bringing the boys down after all, number two still not quite well, so they preferred to stay locally. So we could shop as we pleased for the rest of the day. Next stop Wild Thyme.
