Blog2017 ≫ Lovely lunch Sunday

⬆️Awesome weekend

Nice relaxed family lunch on Sunday. Shame not to have Clare there but she was working all weekend at the plant fair. She got us some courgette plants, we're going to grow and eat lots of our own courgetti...

Found a new thing from Nan while talking to her about my night out in Wallington, she used to work on Wallington Shore Road. Making sausage skins... in a building that used to be a pub around there for American Casings, they used to get a delivery direct from the abbatoir. The smell was disgusting apparently, but it was a job. Not my kind of job.

I will try and find out where this place was.

Number one son also did a good job on his homework on Sunday, making a graph out of the number of foreign number plates we had spotted on the motorways on the way here. We played in the garden a lot too, hula hoops, stilts, and the boys played lots of basketball.

Bit of a slow drive back but not too painful really. The boys watched TV and films on their tablets until they got bored of that, then we spotted more foreign number plates and other signs. Took us about three hours again.
