We mooched round shops inbetween as we also went in The Bath Arms - they had a lot of barrels out in the pub beer festival style, it was something called "Tap Takeover" offering lots of guest ales in a big range of pubs. Great to see the whole town given over to a beer festival, this was a bonus surprise.
We played some chess in this pub. On our phones though. Clare beat me for the umpteenth time in a row, I think I can stop playing now, I have been enough cannon fodder for her and she can play someone more challenging.
We decided to get food before the comedy show, so called in the hotel again as we were passing. I put my phone down and forgot to pick it up again.
