Blog2017 ≫ Early dinner at Zizzi

⬆️Great weekend in London: day two

We museumed our way through lunch, but didn't really plan to stop for dinner quite so early. We had a mooch around Covent Garden, but number two son was seriously flagging. Had to go to Boots and buy more calpol, and also carry him a lot, poor little tiddler. We looked in a few shops, I even considered a new jacket but at over 300 it was too rich for me. Can't even figure which one of these it was1, they're all too expensive. Maybe if I get a surprise dividend again this year.

Tried to go in a pub for little stop, wondered if the Porterhouse might have a family-friendly bit, I'm sure they have done before. But no, they had a sign outside, no children. Might have been because rugby was on. So we headed straight up to Zizzi.

Just got lucky walking in as a party of six without having booked, the people behind us were turned away. We all had a lovely meal. I tried to get it all on work, my 100 ten year anniversary gift, but Mum and Dad insisted on giving money for it.
