Blog2016 ≫ Started off our pub crawl not in a pub

I go thte train from Waterloo down to Portsmouth and Southsea arriving about the same time as Dave who was out with his three boys. We had made plans to go back to Pie and Vinyl for lunch, and so we did. A bit busy so a wait for the table but no drama. I had the "full works" Super Furry Animals pie, which was filled with vegetables and vegan sausage. Full works means served with mash, peas and gravy. Pretty good! The menu was different to last time, they must rotate all the time. All the pies were still named after bands though I think. I had a pud too of a raw orange and cacao cake, also very good.

After we headed to Southsea Models & Games as Dave's boys were buying pokemon cards and a gift for a birthday party they were off to. We passed Gin and Olive on the way there and saw the beginnings of the rest of our party had started, Rich, Ro and Speedy were on the cocktails but carried on to the shop. Was busy with people playing a game. Interesting place they have some retro toys and things in ther etoo. Sabine came and picked up the boys about half two and our day of booze was underway!
