The headlights on the Beetle are pretty dim, it's not fun driving down the unlit country lane from work to home in the dark. I have to go a bit slow and I can feel the cars behind me getting impatient. Will look into this at some point, but it's not a super priority. Then i drove the Peugeot the other night and it was similar. So is it me? No turns out a bulb had gone, could see it easily when I got home again and shone the headlights at the wall. Sidelights where good but one headlamp bulb was out (or the other way round), Clare has got it fixed today... We can drive safely at night again!
On driving, do I take the Beetle to the train station and leave it there over the weekend while I head away on my little jolly? Means I don't have to turn Clare and the boys out early to give me a lift to the station, and also it'll be there for my return. But, will it be there? Will it be just too tempting for someone to steal parked in a dark street near the train station overnight?
