Blog2016 ≫ Divine Comedy was great

A rare night out last night, both of us together, to The Divine Comedy at the Cheesegrater. Clare was a big fan, so we have quite a lot of their stuff (his stuff really, Neil Hannon) but I don't listen to it that much. So was expecting lots of songs I did not know, and that's kind of what we got, but it was all really good. Odd crowd I thought, they have a lot of fans who are all our age and older. Clare was pleased to feel young at a gig. He did a few costume changes, it felt a bit cabaret. Terrible sound problems, but a good gig.

We're out again tonight too for Jon Richardson at the same venue, busy weekend.
