Blog2016 ≫ Bright but cooler day today

There was some bad weather yesterday, fierce waves battering the shore. On my morning walk between taking Harry to school and starting work I went along the beach and it looks grim. All sorts of crap has been thrown up on to the beach, and the beach itself has changed shape a bit. Those pebbles seem so fragile. There's all sorts of litter along the tide line.

It's not cold enough for the heating to have kicked in yet though. I'm getting a bit suspicious, though Clare things it's about right. It always seems to be just one degree or so above the level I've set for the heating to come on. I'm not going to turn the level up just to make it work, but come on, when will it be less than 18 degrees in the house???
