I guess these groups have a lot in common, but by saying "here is a big protest against all development everywhere locally" it does sound very nimby. I feel more strongly about some of these issues than others. Don't think I could really be involved in this:
... a protest march against the developments planned in and around Hythe: the development of Princes Parade, the Lorry Park and the New Town at Otterpool.
I realise that not all of the Friends of Prince's Parade may be against all of the individual developments but we have been invited by the coalition which has been formed to raise awarenees of the scale and volume of the proposed developments (15,000 residential units over 10 years).
