Blog2016 ≫ We won a meal for two at Wetherspoons

I thought I heard my name shouted out three times in the raffle at the school summer barbecue, but I didn't go up and ask. The head teach cornered me today with my other prize, a meal for two at Folkestone Wetherspoons. That's living alright. We also got membership to Amazing Glaze (which is actually just a discount on handpaint your own pottery). We have used them before when the boys were babies but don't know if we would again.

Of course we also won reserved seating at prize day this Wednesday, so we don't have to get there early and should be able to get some good photos this year. Don't suppose Number one son is up for anything this year as he got the achievement prize for his year last year. I am sure number one son must be about the top of the class, but if someone else is close (and there is one other contender) then it would seem fairer to share them out, encourage everyone. At least he's not going to get an attendance award, he's missed five sessions this year. Our theory is if you get 100% attendance then you have had your quota of awards and are less likely to win something else...
