Blog2016 ≫ Free parking has ended at Folkestone West

Bah, this was useful. While the train line between Dover and Folkestone has been out of action there has been free parking for everyone at Folkestone West (and possibly Folkestone Central too). We've made use of this a couple of times when heading up to London. Now, even though the line is still down, there's no more free parking. The line will be closed until December, and someone has probably spotted that it's not only customers from Dover, Deal and beyond that are using it, but plenty of regular commuters too.

We're off on another trip to London in a few weeks, and this would have been handy... As we're going off peak I hope we can find some on street parking overnight anyway, but it would have been handy to be in the proper car park.
