Blog2016 ≫ TWENTY FIVE years ago today I was at a Megadeth gig

My earlier gigging history, though a lot more sparse than the '90s is a lot more metal. I didn't go to a lot but when I did it was a big rock show. This was Megadeth, one of my favourite bands of around that time. Support from Alice in Chains and The Almighty, a good metal line-up for the time. Think I got a lift there with my friend Adam, or we both got a lift with someone else. We spent the day around Poole, we went on a miniature railway too. Pretty sure I wore dungarees for some crazy wacky reason.

Saw them twice, at this same venue, this was first, think the second time was better.
