Blog2016 ≫ Saw a dolphin today at Folkestone Harbour

Lovely, went to Folkestone Harbour Arm today for lunch and a look round. It just reopened yesterday for the year, and while it's still a bit chilly it was a lovely bright sunny day. We were walking down to the lighthouse at the end when someone walking back told us to look out for the dolphin leaping about in the water close to the harbour arm. We saw it right away popping out of the water, at least Number one son, Clare and I did, number two son was too small to see over the wall and it was not really safe to lift him up for a look. Might have been more than one dolphin covering quite an area, though we only saw the one at one time.
