Blog2016 ≫ Did have lunch in Follies

⬆️Saw a dolphin today at Folkestone Harbour

Follies down on the Harbour Arm of course, not the original one on Sandgate Road. This is a really popular destination, quite a squeeze in there. They asked two people to move so the four of us could sit together. The people they asked were not too happy abou tit and asked to be moved again, but HEY, we were alright. That's how you do it Greek Bus.

Service was a bit slack, they lost our order, so it took ages. Pizza was good when it came though, and there's a vegan option right off the menu again1. Amazingly vegan is everywhere right now[^This was getting on for nine years ago, I was impressed how much vegan food there was available in 2016. Now in 2023 it's pretty much proper mainstream. How long until it overtakes non-vegan food..?. The boys loved theirs.

Annoyingly they can't take card payments again, so we had to work out what we could afford with cash, was enough for all our food and drink. But, sort it out.

Also, excitingly, lady on the next table set fire to her newspaper. As I say, it is crowded in there, and they have candles on the tables. Look out, keep an eye on where the emergency exits are.
