Blog2016 ≫ Super proud of number one son's swimming

His extra swimming lesson on Sunday went well, the instructor decided he should be moved up to the next group for his regular weekday lessons. This means he's in a middle lane now so no chance to hang on to the bar at the side of the pool, and it's a bit deeper so he really has to swim right across the pool each time. Hope it goes well. Well, obviously, as if it doesn't I'll have to be diving in to get him.

He's had two whacks on the head this week. He bumped heads at gymnastics, while I was swimming with number two son, resulting in a big bruise and an ice pack, and then yesterday number two son hit him with a toy dinosaur. So he's gone into school today with a triceratops shaped bruise on his forehead. I seem to think I hit my head and had big bruises quite a lot when I was little. Clare says this explains a lot.

Been walking at lunch today, hope I'll keep this up regularly. It's cold but sunny, still ice everywhere but it's starting to melt. You can track me now1 on the fitbit. I'm using Clare's old one, it should be ok so long as I charge it every day.
