Blog2015 ≫ Got the sense hat reporting on the new audio player

⬆️Christmas gadgetry

Two different raspberry pis (raspberries pi?) one playing the music the other just a client. Using the display of the sense hat to output what is currently playing. A massive underuse of space technology!

I expect this is what they're doing with the Pi Sense Hat on [the ISS](/wiki/#kiss) right now too https://t.co/SxGCc5LZlw1

I haven't tried the sensors on the sense hat yet, only the display, but that is worth having on it's own, it's an 8x8 matrix of multicoloured LEDs so as well as the scrolling text you can do simple (small) graphics. Guess I could make a bigger image and zoom around it too. It's best as just a simple indicator of what is going on though.

raspberry pi: Credit card sized super cheap computer, awesome.
