Lovely day for a day off with the boys. Grandpa was unavailable for child care duties today, and Clare couldn't take the day off so I did. Walked Number one son to school, mowed the lawn, and then sat on the balcony in the baking sun for an hour reading my book, fabulous. Quick walk into Hythe to collect number two son from nursery and then a pretty slow walk back with him. Still, I have done my steps today.
Collected Number one son from school, prepared some tea and ripped some DVDs. A very productive day. Now playing with the boys in the garden, then taking Number one son swimming later too.
A shame to not be able to join this day off with the weekend and take tomorrow too, but I don't have much holiday left for later in the year now. I do have two weeks off in August already accounted for though.
