Blog2015 ≫ There is a rival selfie-drone and they have tracked me down

⬆️Lily camera looks amazing

Got an email from a pr person working for Hexo+. They must be googling for mentions of the Lily flying camera and are on an offensive. They sort of have a rival product, and they think it's better. From the video on the website1 it looks like it doesn't have the cool launch feature, and no mention of it being waterproof but I don't know for sure, and OH! It doesn't come with a camera - you'd have to provide your own Go Pro2. It's more expensive, but it can fly at 70kmph - I'm sure someone said the Lily was about 20mph. These two products are too different to compare I would say. The Lily still looks ace, I can't get enough of the "just throw and go".

From the email, from the pr person, from hexo:

Now we're also taking pre-orders on our official website hexoplus.com. The large scale delivery is planned to be in September.

Here is the latest footage3 filmed by Xavier De Le Rue with our drone...

I believe you and your readers would be interested in our kickass drone :) It would be most grateful if we can be featured on your website.

Now, "me and my readers", this site gets quite good ranking and stuff but I'm sure the only readers are really me and Dad. So they're bang on the money there, we're both interested in drones like this!

Actually this is spreading through the guys at work. I've tried to borrow one to review it, but they're just not available yet, and when they are they'll be in the US first anyway, so might be a while before you see a Hexo in the uk.
