Clare was working, so the boys and I went to Folkestone on the bus. Bit of a treat! Even more of a treat, if I give Number one son a free choice of where to go for lunch he only wants to go to Debenhams for some reason, so we did. They do a good pasta for number two son too, but clearly it's not where I want to eat.
Before lunch we had a nice walk on the Leas and down the zig zag path to the coastal park, so they had a whale of a time. Then we went up the leas lift into town for lunch.
I planned to go and have my lunch after, walk down to Beano's and get them a cake while I had a proper lunch but we kind of ran out of time. I really wanted to go in the new Hunt and Darton cafe1, an art installation / theatre experience and just about cafe. It was fun, but not quite as much fun as in the pictures here1. Is it a franchise? I don't recognise those ladies.
They're going to Edinburgh and so are we, starting to get excited about it now... still a few months off yet.
