Blog2015 ≫ Stayed in The Brighton Hotel

⬆️Amazing weekend in Brighton

When we first booked our trip to Brighton it was just for one night - Clare booked it as a lovely surprise for me. It used to be standard that you could only get hotels in Brighton for two night stays, back in the day. Seems to have changed now, maybe because it's off season, but we were able to get one night.

Then we thought about it.

Of course we want to stay away for two nights!

It looked cheap to extend our original booking at the Premier Inn by one more night, but by the time we did it they were fully booked at that bargain 45 room rate, so we had to look elsewhere. Settled on The Brighton Hotel, a Best Western. We knew not to expect too much, we had gone for cheap. Nice high ceilings in our room, but as a result our room was taller than it was wide. Main issue was that it was next to the lift, which was a bit noisy and clanky.

We knew it was just a place to collapse at the end of the night, so it was fine. Other rooms in that hotel are good I'm sure, it's right on the sea front.
