Blog2015 ≫ Are there burglars on the prowl locally?

The neighbour of a friend, a parent of thing one's classmate has been burgled. The friend probably spoke to the burglar. He works shifts (the friend, but possibly also the burglar) and was woken by someone knocking on the door. The knocker said something like "can you tell me where Sainsbury is?" before leaving. It turned out later the neighbouring house had been burgled. More details on this one when I have it, but another friend may also have been burgled today. He's come home to find his laptop gone, no sign of forced entry though. Is this the same opportunistic bogus caller going door to door trying handles, looking for a quick and easy break in? UPDATE: definitely a burglary, camera also stolen, police involved.

Lock your doors and windows everyone!
