Blog2014 ≫ Number one son's school play was good

Went to Number one son's nativity play this week. Same as last year, each class does their own play, but on the night I went there was no reception class so we got three plays. number one son's was called The Landlord's Cat. Number one son remembered his line, though someone spoke over him so we didn't hear him super clearly. I have some pictures and video but I'm not allowed to share them online, well the school would like us not to if they feature other people's kids.

I hope no-one else was filming him while Number one son was fidgeting and absent mindedly lifted up his shepherds costume and flashed the audience.

I really look forward to the day when he does a performance that does not have a religious basis. That's a nice school he goes to but I wish it was not church controlled, I feel like such a hypocrite. Clare is even going to a school carol service with Number one son. I will suck up my moral objections to a religious group having such influence over primary school children, but I draw the line at that one.
