OUT after work today, to Escondido. We don't do this very often but we split into new teams about four months ago and I think there has been some edict saying "You! Socialise! Bond!" as other teams coincidentally also have nights out this week. This happens on the same day that this team starts to fragment, I am moving sort of onto a new team. I get to stop doing so many fixes and move onto innovating and iterating... The iphone optimised mobile first homepage that I worked on using jquery mobile has been a roaring success, much faster and better performing than the page it replaced, so we're building on that. Have a meeting in a bit where we're going to brainstorm improvements for it.
