Despite the hassle of the bureau (not the FBI, an actual bureau) I just checked on my home brew and the specific gravity seems to be bang on what it should be, 1013. I think my thermometer is broken, going to get another one, or probably better build something. Anyway I added the hops today, they smell great. I still think the airlock on the brewing bucket may not be 100%, so the beer is possibly still ruined, but at least it did ferment.
