I watched as much Glastonbury as I could over the weekend, and Dolly Parton did look the best performance there. Was she miming for parts of it though? First noticed it when she did Jolene, her voice was so different to her speaking voice. Maybe just different microphone for singing and speaking, maybe just te effects and backing and so on, but if she was not miming then she is truly an amazing singer. Even if her performance was just enhanced a bit, it was great. Would like to have been there for that.
Wishing I had put that money on Costa Rica now. Even if they go no further I think I could have laid off the bet and got some money out of it. They were 2500-1 at the start of the competition (when I drew them in the sweepstake) and they're down to 66-1 now.
