Blog2014 ≫ Portsmouth pub crawl 6 - The Hole In The Wall

Back to pub four on our Portsmouth pub crawl maybe starting to get a little hazy here... we some beer, and then started ordering some four pint jugs of real ale too as they were a good deal (and good beer too). Actually we lost Bunsen and his lady in the previous pub, they had planned to leave at this stage rather than getting "lost". Then we lost Andy in the same manner in this one, nearly talked him into staying (no trains running, can't get home, which I think would have been vaguely true), but no he stuck to his plans and headed back to his family - lightweight. Then Speedy dropped out too in quick succession, but then our party was topped up with the three missing members Rich, Ro, and Dave, we were at full force again.

Good times were had, though we were slightly unbalanced with three of us having been out since lunch (and the other two of them being out three pints before me) and then the latter three only starting at this late stage. Next time we'll be more organised.

So nice to see everyone. Next we went for curry somewhere on Osborn Road and then my very kind dad came and picked us all up, dropped them in Fareham and me at home. Mum and Dad's home of course, not back to our house. I only drank water with the (average) curry so I was starting to sober up, not tempted to try and go late drinking in Fareham, slept well, and was up early feeling fresh on the Sunday. Quite a result.

Very much looking forward to our next lads day / evening, whenever it might be.
