Hmm pub three (OK actually only two if you don't count The Raven) of our Portsmouth pub crawl and things aren't going quite as well as we'd hoped. This pub is big, but was very quiet. Sign outside says "to let" so possibly it is not much longer for this world. There was a bar billiards table and a pool table, we played the latter, but it was broken and the balls kept getting stuck. At least we got our money back on that one. The beer and the cider both tasted a bit off, I did not even finish my pint, shocker. I won't be rushing back to this pub again though I can see it could be nice.
