Blog2013 ≫ Having a stand off over number one son's lunch now

He's been there an hour and a half refusing to eat his soup - it's too hot, it's too cold, it's got "bits and bobs" in it... It's tomato and basil rather than tinned cream of tomato soup. He's staying there until it's gone. What a shame!

I did the early shift this morning so a nice weekend should have started for me by about now... Not sure I'll get any time to do anything, or exactly what I would do if I did have some time. I'd like to fit that other extractor fan, but I can't do that until Number two son gets up from his nap, and then when he does we're going to John Lewis. Assuming number one son has finished his soup by then.

Keene Electronics are taunting me1, this is the built in amp and speakers I am tempted by, they're throwing a set of the smaller (but water resistant) speakers in with the amp at the moment. So, ooh, good, free thing, good deal, BUT it works out more expensive than I thought anyway. I thought it was 150 for the amplifier, but that is the price without VAT.

number one son is still at the table. Could be a long afternoon.
