Blog2012 ≫ Lovely Jubbly weekend

Air show was good, I got a bit sun burnt though, so did the boy, more so than either of us did during ten days in Turkey... we left the show a bit early and caught the end of it from our balcony, very nice. Lots of family visiting, we had a great birthday tea here on the Saturday night then a smashing lunch somewhere in East Grinstead on Sunday too. Last night we had a rare trip out to the pub and we took the Chambers quiz...

Great curry lunch round at Dom and Jen's today, and Clare is out again tonight, so the boy and I are home alone. I'm meant to be doing the plans for our planning application but I'm finding them too hard. I used to do this sort of stuff day in and day out, but I have struggled to do the plans on the computer, and do not even have a ruler in order to do the drawings on paper. It's not going that well. Might go and buy the right kit tomorrow...

Everyone else is pronouncing jubilee like that aren't they?
