Comed Dine With Me is from Folkestone and Dover TONIGHT

FG ≫ 2012 ≫ Comed Dine With Me is from Folkestone and Dover TONIGHT

Tonight's Come Dine With Me1 was the episode recently filmed in Folkestone and Dover, so looking forward to that:

Four cooks from Folkestone and Dover engage in a week of competitive dining. Taking part are eccentric 70-year-old Janet Cripps, self-confessed witch Lisa Mansfield, parish priest Andy Bawtree and businessman John George.

Between them the quartet of hopeful hosts come up with a 50s night, some saucy talk and physical exchanges over dessert, a Downton Abbey dress code, an Abba tribute band, and a cowboy song.

I hear there is some bad behaviour, what a shocker!

This is part of my site The Folkestone Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in '04. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that so I am technically one of those DFLs you get now. This site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar and voting for favourite places + things, + I know it was a useful resource for others who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. My name is not Gerald by the way, this comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do contact me if you have something to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
