That was a FOUR DAY WEEKEND, and it went like that, hmm... yesterday was a bit of a write off as Clare was working. She took the car, and it was raining and windy all day so we could not really go anywhere or do anything. We tried going down to the beach, but the boy was not keen to walk in the wind and the rain so we went round the block only. We did a little bit of painting, but as he is a little bit under the weather even that was not the joy that it might have been.
I thought I might get some DIY done over the break, just touching up some paintwork, but no time for that at all. I had some spare time to try out some arduino stuff while the boy was napping, but that's it. None of that worked out, as I previously reported. I did fit in nice big dinner, and some shopping, and a quiz, and two visits to the pub so it wasn't a complete loss...
It's a short week, and I do have more holiday lined up, we have some time off in three weeks, and then the jubilee weekend not long after that, so not too much to complain about.
Out to Belgo tonight for some work drinks too. A bit too tired to enjoy a night out, especially one where I have to get to London and back again though. And it's going to mess me up for tomorrow. I'm too old for this going out lark.
