According to The News1 the pub will be turned into a convenience store. Odd choice as there is one right across the road, the one I still call the Circle K (or occasionally Sperrings when I am feeling truly retro. Will there be shop wars?
Sad to see a pub go, but I only went in there once, and they were shut early and would not serve us.
