He's had his second settling in session and all was fine. He has one more tomorrow, then his first proper morning is Friday. He's sure to do brilliantly.
I got a lovely father's day gift of a bookmark, with a picture of the boy and me reading on it (now I see why Clare wanted those pictures of us reading together...) and a card with a handprint in it.
