Blog2011 ≫ Good weekend at Mum and Dad's part the second

Spent Sunday at Manor Farm which was nice, the boy could run around chasing the chickens and I could get inspiration for my shed from the ramshackle outbuildings there. Speaking of which, still no word from the shed people, it's been four weeks now. I won't be buying another shed from B&Q in a hurry. Phoning them to complain tomorrow.

Tried to go to The Harvester in Port Solent for tea but it was too busy. The guy on the door was irritating and unpleasant, the same guy who has been irritating and unpleasant on previous visits. It's hard work going for a spontaneous meal out for eight, but we thought the Harvester would be OK as it was earlly, and you can't book there. But no. Went to the Wetherspoons instead, as there's something for everyone to eat and it should be easy, but they were pretty disorganised, service at the bar there is very slow. When we got all our food though everyone's was alright.
