I just happen to stumble upon this page while searching for something else. I was at Folkestone School of art the same time as you doing the Graphic course. My name is now Llewellyn, not Winslow. I remember John Dyke, John Lucus, Duncan, Ruth, a short guy called Tony, Desmond who I did bump into in London working near Smithfield Market, but we never got around to meeting up also Graham (think that was his name), a tall guy slightly older than the rest of us. Do you remember Sue, I am in contact with her and thats about all. What about John Parson's who taught us one day a week he was always drunk and had greasy hair, he would walk out of the class carrying a large bag and have a swig of something or other on the stairs.

It seems like a lifetime ago now! Lorna

This is part of my website The 'Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when we first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a few years previous to that so I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. The site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for favourite places + things, + I know it was a useful resource for those who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we always thought it was about to become. I am not Gerald by the way, this comes from a pretend paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are GRATE aren't they? Do get in touch if you have something to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
