Blog2010 ≫ Rails tip of the day

Don't replace spaces with tabs in your .yml files! It does not work. How rubbish is that? yml1 has to be indented, but you must indent with spaces, and not tabs. This is not something specific to rails though, tabs are forbidden in yml2. Annoying, a thing that you can't see... This explains why all rails developers use two spaces instead of actual tabs.
