Or Googies with a soft G like... um Goujons? I can't actually think of a word that has a soft G in the middle like that. OK like in Sage. Which one is it? Seems obvious to me that it's pronounced "Googies" but my wife keeps saying "Googies". Is she talking gibberish or what?
UPDATE: Having spoken to Googy himself, it's Googies with two hard Gs like Google.
⬅️ You knows it :: Ah good we were going to Canterbury to buy the boy some shoes anyway! ➡️
This is my site The FG that I set up in a fury of excitement when we first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for best venues + things, and I know it was a useful reference for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now Iʼve moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesnʼt get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we always thought it was just about to. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from a fake paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great arenʼt they? Do contact me if you have something to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on the twitter.
