Blog2010 ≫ Second viewing of the biggest investment of my life

New house is STILL GOOD

Lovely day today, Mum and Dad were here, lunch in Pizza Express then a viewing of our new house. Only the second viewing for me, lordy. It is a bit smaller than I remember but still good. Does not look like there will be any room for a real shed, unless I can creatively dig down and have it underground or create some TARDIS style magic. Mum and Dad loved the new house too, and spending the day with the boy. He's been on great form, though was still a bit sick again today. Hopefully was just the excitement though.

I hope things all go smoothly and quickly, I'd like to be in the new house while it's still summer.

Wonder if more or less people will be watching the snooker today as a result of this upset. Kind of colours @stevesnooker's surprise defeat of John Higgins the other day. Bizarrely Steve says nothing much has happened today1, I'm starting to wonder if that's the real Steve Davis. We're going to watch a bit but then turn over for Lewis and then turn back after. Watched the Graham Dott / Mark Selby match yesterday, man that one ran and ran. Not seen so many rerackings in a match before.

Tomorrow I'm going to sing and sign with the boy, surprisingly it's still on even though it's a bank holiday. Will be a lovely day off. Clare's last time at sing and sign too as she'll be working on Monday's from now on, but Granny and Grandpa are going to take the boy in future.

The weather has been frightful today, hope it improves tomorrow. A serious amount of rain.
