Traffic madness at Eurotunnel1:
Hundreds of travellers have been stuck in queues for up to two hours attempting to cross the channel via Eurotunnel.
Eurotunnel has been like that for me 50% of times we've used it.
This is my website The 'Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when we first came to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a few years before that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get nowadays. The site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar + voting for favourite places + things, + I hear it was a useful reference for those who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just to Hythe) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. I am not Gerald by the way, the name comes from the name of a pretend newspaper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
