It is a shame but the Skuba Bar has changed hands, and there went the Thai Food. Currently (08/2008), they serve a very bad version (e.g. bad quality produced, greasy and tasteless)of pub food.

This is part of my site The 'Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came here in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. This site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for favourite places and things, + I hear it was a handy resource for others who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only a couple of miles) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. I am not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local paper here called the Folkestone Herald.
