I don't avoid it as such, I'm just usually too busy and it's gone before I realise what's going on. I'll make an extra special effort this year.
I've a few friends who currently rent out during the festival, or have in the past. They only get at most 1.5k for the month, but you might get more if you've got a swanky pad in the centre. Still, I'm not giving up my bed to some celebrity - God knows what they'd get up to in it...I'd just be jealous.
