Blog2008 ≫ Art prank, or something else?

Someone's put "official looking" signs up around Portchester informing local residents that 600 new homes are to be built on a green field site, the Southern Daily Echo reports 1. Local councillors claim they are hoaxes, what's going on..?

Councillors have reassured residents there are no current plans to develop on open land in the area.

Officers have now removed the posters, and the authority is warning it could take legal action if those responsible are traced.
