I'm glad you enjoyed Ed, I think it's a great place to live. I forgot you were into your real ales, you should have gone to The Guildford Arms - that's my Dad's favourite for real ale. Mary King's Close is very touristy, you should have done one of the Mercat tours - they go into the caves and caverns under the Royal Mile and that is rather spine chilling.
