I've not read The Herald this week, so sorry if this has already been established. I took this picture1 last weekend on the way back from the pub, and then the next day had NO IDEA where it was or why I'd taken it.
Possibly it's the old Marks and Spencer, which I hear will be the new Starbucks, does that sound right? The venue's a bit of a whopper, are they going to divide it up?

This is my site The FG that I built in a fury of excitement when we first moved to Folkestone in approximately 2004. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get now. The site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events and voting for favourite places and things, + I hear it was a useful resource for those who were moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just to Hythe) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we always thought it was about to become. I am not Gerald BTW, the name comes from a pretend newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
