Just having a play with MySpace and I found a gig at The Harp Club for Saturday, Fallens Ground and two other bands are playing... Enjoy if you go, we are going on a bit of a crawl around town, will be in Chambers at some point. OK, so you don't know who I am, but if you see a group of people, who look like they're on a bit of a crawl around town, please be kind to them.

This is my site The FG that I set up in a fury of excitement when I first came to Folkestone sometime in '04. I had been a frequent visitor for a while previous to that but I am technically one of those Down From Londons you get nowadays. This site was updated more frequently with a calendar of events + voting for favourite places + things, + I hear it was a useful resource for others who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just to Hythe) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as The town is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was just about to. My name is not Gerald BTW, the name comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of The Day Today or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald.
