FG ≫ 2005 ≫ Interactive map of Folkestone

Check out this interactive map of Folkestone - just drag to redraw the Folkestone map according to your requirements, ie find pubs with real ale and a pool table etc.

Also, now add it to your map [nope, long gone].

If you're looking for a printable map of Folkestone1, I'd go direct to this map1.

If there's a venue you know of that's missing you could add it yourself2, or [reply]post the details here[/reply]. If there's a venue with incorrect info (not all the fields are filled in for the venues I don't know right now), please [reply]post corrections up here[/reply]. Likewise, if there's a new feature you'd like added (or you can make me some tasty icons), [reply]post here too[/reply]! Cheers!

This is part of my site The Folkestone Gerald that I set up in a fury of excitement when we first came to Folkestone sometime in 2004. I'd been a frequent visitor for a while before that so I am technically one of those DFLs you get now. This site was updated more frequently with a gig calendar and voting for favourite places + things, + I know it was a handy resource for others who were moving here. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though only to Hythe) it doesn't get as much love as it used to. Ironic really as Folkestone itself is now becoming the exciting place we knew it was about to become. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from the name of a pretend paper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, and how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do get in touch if you have something to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
