Property of the week

FG ≫ 2005 ≫ Property of the week

Hmm, an irregular series here... Doesn't look like much from the outside, and to be fair I've not seen the inside either, but 120k for two beds with a sea view1! How bargainous is property in Folkestone still then?

Hmm, this place2 seems to be up for 150k, and I can't see a difference between them from here. Both are still cheap compared to these bad boys3 on Sandgate Road. They're new, higher spec'ed and have parking, but not sure about their spaciousness. Maybe I am spoiled.

The recently discounted new build on Bouverie Road West is still up for sale too...

20k: Twenty kilometres, just over twelve miles.

This is my site The FG that I built in a fury of excitement when I first came here in approximately '04. I'd been a regular visitor for a while before that but I am technically one of those DFLs you get now. The site used to be a lot more dynamic with a calendar of events + voting for favourite places + things, + I hear it was a useful reference for others who were thinking of moving to the area. Now I've moved out of Folkestone again (though just to Hythe) it doesn't get as much attention as it used to. Ironic really as The town is becoming the exciting place we always thought it was about to become. My name is not Gerald BTW, this comes from a fake newspaper in an episode of Brasseye or something, the Portsmouth Gerald, + how there is a local newspaper here called the Folkestone Herald. Puns like this are great aren't they? Do get in touch if you have anything to offer, email anythign @ this domain, or try @folkestone or @pauly on Twitter.
